January 10, 2023 (Tuesday) - 11:00 a.m.

This concert presents two sides of Hungarian music. On the one hand, we will hear Années de Pèlerinage N. 2 by Franz Liszt, a piece inspired by a trip to Italy and written according to the dictates of the great Western pianistic and compositional tradition. The chosen pieces by Bela Bartok, The Romanian Folk Dances and the Allegro barbaro, show the composer's deep knowledge of the popular musical culture of the Eastern European regions.

      Repertoire:

Franz Liszt (1811-1886)

Années de Pèlerinage S. 162 - Second Book: Italy

Bela Bartok (1881-1945)
